Economy & Wagers

The arcade uses framework money for admission and optional stakes. Its unlock shop uses a separate saved balance called Credits. Set money options in configs/server/economy.lua.

Admission

SettingDefaultMeaning
Account'cash'Framework account used for arcade charges and payouts.
CreditPrice25Admission charged per human when a paid arcade match starts. 0 makes admission free.
Currency'$'Money display symbol.

Two meanings of credit

CreditPrice is the arcade's admission fee in framework money. It is not a deduction from the progression Credits balance used to unlock fighters and skins.

Admission and the player's stake are charged together when the match starts. If starting the match fails partway through charging the players, successful charges from that attempt are refunded. Admission is not refunded simply because an already-started match later ends or is voided.

Wagers

SettingDefault
Wager.Enabledtrue
Wager.Min / Wager.Max100 / 5000
Wager.Step100
Wager.HouseCut0.05 — 5%

Wagers require at least two human players. A stake is optional; disabling wagers does not disable ordinary admission or progression rewards.

Settlement and Refunds

OutcomeWhat happens to the stake
A participating human winsThe winner receives the pot after the configured house cut.
CPU wins, draw, or the winner has already leftRemaining humans receive their own stake back and share eligible forfeited stakes after the cut.
A player leaves or disconnects mid-matchTheir stake remains forfeited in the pot.
A match is voidedPlayers who did not forfeit receive their stakes back.
Resource restarts with unsettled wagersRecorded escrow is recovered on startup.

Escrow and payout records are stored in the database. Offline payouts are kept pending for delivery when the character is available. Keep those tables when updating or restoring the resource; deleting them also deletes the information used for recovery.

Statistics and Leaderboards

configs/server/stats.lua controls the separate arcade statistics system:

  • Enabled = true records eligible matches.
  • MinHumans = 2 excludes solo CPU games by default.
  • LeaderboardSize = 10 displays the top ten.
  • CacheSeconds = 60 caches the standings for one minute.

Saved statistics include wins, losses, KOs, falls, damage, net wager winnings, and fighter usage. These eligibility settings are separate from progression's reward limits; a CPU match can be eligible for progression without appearing in the default multiplayer leaderboard.

Credit Packs and Premium Pass

Credit packs and the premium season track are configured in the progression catalog. Their configured cash prices use in-game framework money. They are not a Tebex checkout or a real-money payment integration. See Progression & Shop before changing these prices.
